Why we built Dealport.

I come from a family that owned a construction company, and most of our team grew up in or around family businesses. Owning a business, creating jobs in your own community, is entrepreneurship at its best.

When we tried to buy businesses ourselves, we were limited to whatever happened to be listed. And most owners we talked to had no plan for what comes next. For many, closing the doors was the default.

Dealport exists to connect the two: buyers who want to carry these companies forward, and owners who haven't yet worked out what forward looks like.
